Saturday, September 22nd  – NEWPORT HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Why is NPAC Participating:  In support of one of our fellow non-profit organizations in Washington Square, NPAC will support the NHS Third Annual Culinary Adventure, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.  NPAC will be sponsoring the band who will be performing during the evening.  We will be recognized as a sponsor in the evening’s program, and at the event. Many of the NHS members who will be attending this event are NPAC supporters and donors, and this will re-enforce NPAC’s vitality, support of fellow organizations and of the performing arts.

Event Description:  200+ guests will step back in time to the Armistice of 1918 and the end of World War 1.  The evening will feature a culinary adventure of war-era local foods, band music and time-period re-enactors who will transport the guests back to this memorable time in US history.
